The MedLite C6 Laser works by stimulating collagen production. This new technology helps treats scars and wrinkles at the root of the problem, deep in the skin. Using laser energy that penetrates deeply without injuring the top layer of skin, the deep dermis is stimulated to produce natural collagen and other vital proteins that make up healthy, youthful skin. It helps to achieve:
- Birthmark removal
- Tattoo removal
- Improving acne scars
- Diminishing wrinkles
- Reducing brown spots
- Enhancing and improving skin texture
- Rebuilding skin’s collagen
- Reducing pigmentation
The beauty of this treatment is that it is fast, painless, and has little to no downtime. This is a favourite treatment for many of our patients who are looking for an overall skin rejuvenation at a very affordable price.

TATTOO REMOVAL BY MEDLITE LASER
Trusted for Professional Tattoo Removal
The MedLite C6 laser is an excellent choice for tattoo removal because its unique combination of short wavelength light and rapid, high intensity pulses maximizes the destruction of skin pigmentation and tattoo inks.
A central concern of many people considering tattoo removal is scarring. After all, you want to wave goodbye to that unwelcome reminder of days gone by, but you don’t want a painful scar to take its place. MedLite C6 preserves surrounding skin and minimizes scarring by focusing its light energy only on the ink of the tattoo, causing it to break up and be naturally removed by your body’s cleansing process.
Tattoos use a wide variety of ink colors, and MedLite C6 is able to remove practically all shades of ink, with the exception of certain shades of green and yellow, which are difficult or impossible to remove with any current laser technology. Repeat treatments over a period of several weeks are usually required to achieve the best results. Patients on average see a 90 to 95% reduction in the appearance of their tattoo.
BIRTHMARK TREATMENT BY MEDLITE LASER
Birthmarks are generally either red or brown. Red marks are made up of lots of tiny blood vessels, whilst brown ones are made up of brown pigment (melanin). These vary greatly in size and occur in different parts of the body. Facial birthmarks are common and cause the most concern to patients. Lasers and Intense Pulsed Light systems have revolutionised the treatment of birthmarks, and even the very young may be treated.
BROWN/ BLACK BIRTHMARKS
Au Lait birthmarks are the most common brown birthmark. They are flat, light brown and well circumscribed. Other birthmarks include Nevus of Ota (common on Asian cheeks) and Becker’s Nevus (relatively resistant to laser treatment). Laser treatment of birthmarks is quick and easy, with the flicking of the rubber band being the usual description of how the treatment feels.
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER THE PROCEDURE
Immediately after treatment the area looks blotchy for several hours, while the brown area darkens in colour. After 1 to 2 weeks the darkened pigment literally “washes off” to leave behind a much lighter colour.
Most birthmarks will remain this lighter colour, and you have the option of repeating the treatment to further reduce the colour. Some birthmarks will return to the original colour (repigmentation), and occasionally the colour will be temporarily darker (hyperpigmentation). It is essential to use a good quality sun screen after treatment to reduce the risk of repigmentation or hyperpigmentation. A bleaching gel may be recommended.
